What if I do not have a strong Yoga Practice?
People of all ages and all level of ability attend this retreat. While focus is on relaxation and rejuvenation, we offer energetic Yoga Practice in the early mornings and more Restorative Practice in the evenings.

What are the hours of the retreat and what if I must show up late on Friday evening or early Saturday?
The retreat commences at 7pm on Friday, September 3rd. We advise you show up between 4-5pm to check into your room. Dinner will be served at 5:30pm and Opening Ceremonies commence at 7pm. If you are unable to arrive until Saturday morning, please notify us.

What are the sleeping accommodations?
You will be staying in small, cozy Monks rooms, with double or triple occupancy. We always seek to honor specific requests from couples or friends to lodge together. Some participants stay in a larger group lodging, which typically holds 10-12 persons. This is usually reserved for Deep Yoga Trainees attending the retreat.
PLEASE NOTE: You will be responsible for bringing your own bedding (quilt, blankets, sleeping bags, pillows, etc.)

What are the meals like?
Meals are served 3 times per day, all vegetarian, and are prepared by the Monks in residence at the Zen Mountain Center. If you have specific dietary needs (such as veganism or an allergy to certain foods) please notify us in advice and we will seek to accommodate you.

The mountains are typically warm in the day time and cool in the evening during September. However, the weather is changeable and we advise you bring layered clothing for either hotter or cooler temperatures.
