Deep Yoga, in partnership with Ginseng Yoga Studio, will commence its 2009 Yoga Teacher Training in April with a program that runs through November as part of our new Vedic School of Healing Arts at Ginseng.


Becoming a Yoga Teacher is a life-changing journey that can lead you to your fullest potential while you learn to share the practice of Yoga with others.  Our Mastery of Life Teacher Training is designed for aspiring teachers committed to living fully as Yogis in all aspects of their lives. Through the Sacred Sciences of Yoga and Ayurveda, you will journey a time-tested pathway to vibrancy, inner peace and self-realization as you become both a Yogi and a Yoga Teacher.

The training will include eight weekend Intensives (held monthly), our annual Mastery Retreat, two weekly classes, private sessions, group gatherings and opportunities for you to student-teach for small groups as you hone your skills.  As well as learning the Deep Yoga approach to guiding Asana Classes, you will learn the fundamentals of Ayurveda, Yoga’s sacred sister science that is known as the most complete form of holistic healing and wellness.  You will also come to know the greatest ancient texts of Yoga and how deeply relevant their wisdom is for our modern age.

Deep Yoga is a Registered Teaching School with The Yoga Alliance and graduates are eligible for registration with the nationally recognized Yoga Alliance at the 200-hour level. Our Mastery of Life Teacher Training Certificate Program is held annually at Ginseng Yoga Studio of San Diego.
